Skating Hints

1. Please be sure to arrive 30 minutes prior to your scheduled lesson to allow time for checking in, lacing up skates and storing your belongings.

2. Classes begin promptly at the scheduled time.

3. You are expected to remain in class for the full half hour (except for emergencies).

4. Should you have a problem with your skates, etc., please talk to your instructor.

5. Should a student not be in the proper class level, please discuss the problem with the head pro. If necessary the student will be placed in a more suitable class.

6. Dress in warm, comfortable layers; wear sweat or wind pants (no jeans), tights, thin socks, gloves or mittens.

7. Hockey helmets with mask and gloves are recommended for all levels.

8. No food, drink or gum allowed on the ice.

9. No shoes are permitted on the ice.
